Helping everyone eat better

We believe that delicious, great quality food that is better for you and the planet should be accessible to all.

Food and the environment

From field to plate we are working with our farmers and suppliers to have a positive impact on the environment. Farmers are driving innovation to support the building of healthy soils, protect water and boost biodiversity, whilst producing nutritious food sustainably.

Meet our farmers

This series of short farmer videos are mini case studies illustrating how farmers are producing food for Sainsbury’s sustainably.

Meet our farmers

Helping everyone eat better. One plate at a time.

Today, the way our customers shop and eat has benefits for their health and the environment.

We want to support our customers to reduce carbon emissions and food waste, helping them recycle more, use less plastic, and guide them to make healthier, more sustainable choices.
